On Tuesday morning, June 22, 2010, David Swanson of WarIsACrime.org and Washington Director of Democrats.com held an impromptu press conference in front of Union Station in Washington, D.C. He was sharply critical of Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD) on the issue of “off the books” military spending. Meanwhile, Hoyer, who is the Democratic majority leader in the House, was giving a speech inside Union Station in the Columbus Room.
